Ugur Sarman, CAIA
Senior Vice President, Partner Relations
Mr. Sarman brings over 15 years of experience across institutional sales, market intelligence, and cross-border investor engagement. As Greenstone’s only New York-based representative, he regularly meets with U.S. fund managers to evaluate their strategies for potential alignment with GCC investor demand.
Prior to joining Greenstone, Mr. Sarman was Senior Vice President of Institutional Sales at Marco Polo Securities, a New York-based broker-dealer, where he developed key transactional relationships between financial intermediaries, corporates, and institutional investors across Frontier and Emerging Markets.
Prior to this, he worked at Auerbach Grayson, focusing on EMEA-based market intelligence and corporate access for U.S. institutional investors. He also worked at NBGI Securities, the brokerage arm of the National Bank of Greece, focusing on research sales and trading functions across Southeastern Europe and Turkey.
Mr. Sarman began his career at Moody’s Investor Services in New York, where he conducted financial analysis and analyzed macroeconomic trends.
Mr. Sarman is a Turkish national and holds a Bachelor of Arts in City and Regional Planning from Mimar Sinan University, Turkey and a Master of Business Administration in Financial Management from Pace University, U.S. Mr. Sarman also holds a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.
